As the administrator, log in to your office 365 domain by navigating to . In this example, the domain we will use is âaveosystemstest.onmicrosoft.comâ.
Navigate to the Admin page as shown in the following figure.
Under the âUsers > Active usersâ section on the Office 365 administrator portal as shown below, click âAdd a userâ, and enter a name for the service user account.
While there is no need to email the password for this account, nor does it need to be changed on first login, select an automatic password or enter the password as shown below as it will be needed when we log into this account and also when we associate this account with the desired organization within Mira Portal.
Once you have a service user account created, you need to wait until its mailbox has been fully created before continuing. Youâll know the mailbox is ready when the âMailbox permissionsâ field shows the text âThere are no additional mailbox permissions set on this mailboxâ as shown in the following figure. While the spinner graphic is active, the mailbox is not ready.
If you already have Office 365 room resources defined for the rooms where youâd like to use Mira Connect, then proceed to 'Add the âService Userâ as a Delegate to the Room Resource Accountsâ. If you donât have room resources defined, follow the instructions in âAdding Room Resourcesâ.
In this example, weâll use âMira Connectâ as our service user account name which will create a user name of as shown in the following figure.
