General improvements and bug fixes
For details, please read further.
Added support for Visionary Solutions PacketAV encoders and decoders. PacketAV devices can be automatically discovered and added to the room at once or added individually. Mira Connect supports video switching any inputs to any outputs and can also control video sources of multi-input encoders to the local monitor outputs or through the AVoIP network. See our article, , for additional information. For technical details, see the .
Added automatic device discovery for Global Caché products to make it easy to find the devices that are on the local network. Automatically discovered products can be added to the room at one time or added individually. Now it is possible to automatically discover the Global Caché products and add them to the room by selecting 'Discover equipment'.
The products available on the local network will be shown with their model name, MAC address, and IP address.
While this is designed to make it easy to add contact closure devices that are added separately to the room, you can also use this to detect IP2SL and IP2IR devices. Once discovered, select the desired device and click ADD EQUIPMENT. IP2SL and IP2IR devices do not need to be added separately to the room when used as part of an equipment driver, such as a display or TV tuner that connects through the Global Caché product. Mira Portal also shows the elapsed time since last discovery. Click Refresh to search for devices again.
A best practice is to set a static IP address for all devices so the IP addresses don't change over time.
Added an optional 'name' field for all equipment that can be used to describe the function or the particular piece of equipment.
Added an option to select the Cameras page as the default page to show after a user hasn't pressed a button for a while.
This release adds support for eighteen new products or product families from the following manufacturers:
Fixed an issue where not all sound reinforcement and overflow mutes were being muted when the room was powered off.
Fixed an issue where in rare cases Mira Connect would not reconnect to a device that had dropped the network connection.
Added support for using the 'all outputs' output for AVPro AC-CX video switchers.
Resolved issue where redialing a PSTN call with a Biamp Tesira could cause two call cards to appear.
Improved RS-232 connections to a Biamp Tesira system when controlled over RS-232.
Fixed issue where an Epson projector driver would not connect successfully when controlling over RS-232.
Added the Android input source selection to i3Touch X-One displays.
Removed automatic device discovery for Lutron GRAFIK Eye systems due to performance issues the with Lutron QSE-NWK device when there are many Lutron devices on the QS Link. Integration ID of the GRAFIK Eye or NWK must be entered manually now.
Removed the need to enter a password when simulating Lutron lighting systems.
Improved power on/off status for NEC projectors.
Fixed a typo in the PJLink driver for projectors.
Improved SoundStructure driver to make all channels visible when adding Sound Reinforcement and Overflow channels.
Improved power-on performance for Samsung Pro TVs that don't respond to commands for up to a minute while powering on.
Added support for VISCA camera control over UDP, commonly referred to as VISCA over IP, to control more cameras from leading manufacturers including Bolin, BirdDog, Sony, and others. When adding a VISCA camera, select the connection type as either TCP for VISCA over TCP or UDP for VISCA over IP (UDP). For technical details, see the .
